The Latest Advice
I have made attempts to plan out my life many times, and to variant degrees, I have succeeded at sticking to my life’s plan. I remember wanting to go to the most elite of high schools, then on to college, and quickly transition into the real world where I would undertake a career, a family etc. However, as myself and other Millennials have figured out, life has a way of being not so linear. Often times the transition into the workforce proves to be the hardest and most pivotal step into life in the real world. Without a job, the transition into the real world is made all the more difficult, and for this reason here are some things you should know.

I have a love - hate relationship with my credit cards. I love charging them, but hate paying the bill. Anyone else out there? Plus, I often get suckered into applying for merchandise credit cards or a new frequent flyer miles credit card. Now I'm bogged down by more credit cards than I can handle.

I’m working as an unpaid intern for three months this winter. This means digging myself into debt as I overpay for a Manhattan bedroom and subway fare to get to my job that is paying me in academic credit. Academic credit is great, but you can’t eat it.
